The ILUMA Standard is the classic two-piece IQOS: a slim holder that does the heating, and a Pocket Charger that keeps it topped up. It is the model most long-time IQOS users recognise.
Its signature feature is Autostart. Insert a TEREA stick and the holder begins heating on its own, with no button press. You can switch Autostart off if you prefer to start it yourself.

Signals you should know
The holder tells you what is happening through lights and vibration. Two lights mean two sessions are available and one light means one. One vibration means heating has started, two mean it is ready, and two more mean you have 30 seconds or 2 puffs left. A double tap shows the remaining battery.

What makes the Standard different from the ILUMA One?
The Standard splits the device into a holder and a Pocket Charger and adds Autostart. The ILUMA One is a single device with up to 20 sessions per charge.
Can I turn Autostart off?
Yes. It can be disabled if you would rather start each session with the button.
How long does the Pocket Charger take to charge?
About 135 minutes for a full charge, which then covers up to 20 sessions.
Is the Neon edition different inside?
No. IQOS presents Neon as a limited design edition, with the same heating system as the regular ILUMA Standard.
Is the Standard or the Prime better?
They perform the same. The Prime has an anodised aluminium Pocket Charger with a textured wrap, so the choice is about materials and price.
